Are Armenians middle eastern? A question for Armenians specifically!!!!!?
Do not answer before reading my paragraph and giving it a lot of thought. Egyptians are middle eastern, but not Asian.North East Africans are African Arabs but not middle eastern. Such as Moroccans and Libyans. Levant Arabs who are also descendants of greeks and europeans, are asian and middle eastern. Gulf arabs who are only Asians and middle eastern. Technically speaking Armenia used to border Syria, before the Ottomans waged war. Also why does Armenia not have a online community, like the Syrian Facebook page which has almost 1 million likes. (I'm syrian). Why is not there any news over Armenian politics. Never!!!!! I looked up Armenian president, and to my surprise, I saw Facebook pages "Impeach Armenian President". I do not have access to this specific kind of information, due to the fact it is no where to be found on the web, nor do I have any Armenian friends in America, since I do not know any here. All my Armenian friends live in Syria, I have no way to connect with them, and probably will never see them again due to the civil war in Syria.

No, Armenia is in the Caucauses Mountains. To be Middle Eastern you have to be in Asia and bordering either the Mediterranean sea or the Persian Gulf/Red sea.
Some books still consider Armenia in the Middle East tho.

As the B Word said,Armenia is considered in the middle east by some. Culturally,i think they are from the middle east, the music,art,architecture...
There are news about Armenia. There was lots of talk about Armenia when Russia was doing military exercises in case of an attack on Iran. Russia was to use bases in Armenia. There was also other news on gas pipes-related stuff.

Armenians are Middle Eastern. Because they are Christian, they have always been linked with Europe due to most of Europe's history being that your religion is your identity up until the late 18th century when secularism began to take hold of Europe and people can began to separate themselves based on race, language and borders.

Armenia bordered with Greece and Assyria. never Syria. the Assyrians weren't arab. they later became arab because of domination of arabs and mixed a lot.
Armenians are Indo-European. and they are Caucasian. they are at the border of Europe. technically speaking...they're European. they're white. not Arabic. Not middle nor anything like that....
Armenians are white. I know a lot of Armenians and they resembles Europeans. they're light skinned. and some are even blond or red headed.

to sum it up, you have your facts wrong
Armenia : Europe. (Caucasian mountains)

The term "Middle Eastern" is invalid & has no merit. It's a Euro-American centrist colonialist age-old labeling of diverse ethnicities, cultures, nationalities, religions across continents. Armenia is in Asia just as what are considered "middle eastern countries" - from Egypt to Turkey to Iran & all inbetween. The constricted socio-political definition does not include Armenia but all these countries with the exception of Egypt are Asian.
