Does Sprint charge to receive text messages from facebook notifications?
I recently bought a "Samsung Conquor" 4G Android...It's Sprint and I want to have it so I receive a text message whenever I receive a Facebook notification. Yes, I do have unlimited texting, calling & internet so I can use facebook and text all I want. My problem is, that I was trying to sign up for the notifications, and Facebook had a message saying ""Facebook does not charge for this service. Sprint's messaging rates apply.""...I'm sure that means Sprint charges.
Does anyone know for sure that they do or don't? & Does anyone have the same thing as I do?

As long as you have the unlimited messaging and data plan, you will not be charged no matter who sends you a text message.

Facebook has to put a disclaimer in their service because not everyone has a messaging and data plan. Folks on a "voice only" plan pay something like 20 cents for every text message.

You won't pay that because you have to have a messaging and data plan if you are using an Android device. Sprint will not put an Android on a voice-only plan.
