Is there a way to turn off/block all Aplication requests on FB?

I am so sick of these - NO I don't want to play FarmVille or Zynga whatever
FB is quickly turning into MySpace which will eventually destroy it

You can go to the part where it has the apps, put the mouse over it, then there is an X in the right hand corner. Click the X and then it will say something like block requests from (friends name) and block requests from (that game). It usually works. You can also remove the timeline

Click privacy settings - Blocked People and Apps - manage blocking - Block app invites from....select names of people who send the invites
