For fun. My Cousin made her kids one. She only adds friends and family and all photos are set to private. It's a lot better and safer than myspace.

yes but in a few years when he is about 7 he will start using is i started using facebook when i was 10 never done me any harm. Its nice being able to talk to people that you know in real life any time you want.

I think that is so stupid, I don't have facebook as i don't see the point. But, does she not realise how dangerous it is to put a small childs photograhs and details on a website so unsecure and vulnerable as Facebook. I think maybe you should advise her as to your thoughs on the situation, or even just ask lots of your friends to request that the page is removed from the site.

I can't believe people are saying 'these people shouldn't have kids'...

My son has one, and he's 2 - we hardly use it, and it's set to private. It's for my family to see pictures of him (as most of our family live in different parts of the country)

It's not because I'm sad, or a freak.. or want peado's looking at my kid - Jesus I'd personally kill anyone who thought sick thoughts about my son, It's just for family and friends who live away, to see how he's getting on.
