Facebook timeline help!?

I wanna change my profile to a timeline because they're all gunna end up like that! What are the pros and cons about it? and do you have to have a cover photo?

Pros- It is a nice experience to have a timeline. It is basically very organized. You can have many important incidents of your life marked up nicely. Everything is right there, your friends, likes, photos etc.
Cons- It takes more time to load as it used much bigger images to show up. In Early phase it is pretty confusing regarding privacy settings.
You Do NOT have to have a cover photo

Yes, Facebook Timeline do have a Cover Photo option - which is optional.
You can put one by pressing "Add cover" button at the top on your Timeline, either by choosing photo from existing albums or by uploading a new photo from your computer.
If we go step-by-step:
1. Click "Add Cover" button at the top of your Facebook Timeline profile
2. If a message pops-up saying "Choosing your Cover photo", click "Okay"
3. You'll see a drop down at "Add Cover" button with options - "Choose from photos..." and "Upload photo..."
4. If you go with "Choose from photos", you can use any photo from your existing albums as the cover. You can also upload a new photo to be used as cover by choosing the second option "Upload photo".
5. After choosing an image from existing albums or uploading a new image, you can "Drag to reposition cover" to adjust it's positioning. After that, click "Save changes" button and you've successfully added a cover photo to your Timeline profile.
