Should I lose weight?
I need an honest, but not mean, answer. I have been told both that I need to and that I don't. But I'm looking for some outside opinion. I am 5'6'' and 160 pounds. Here are picture links. & excuse the manner, most are from halloween. Tongue

Thank you.

At your 5' 6" and 160 pounds, you are classified as 'overweight' by your BMI (Body Mass Index). But only barely - the 'normal' zone ends at 155 pounds. So whether or not you really need to lose weight comes down to how muscular you are. If you are very active, especially if you are involved in sports, then you might have high muscle mass, too. And you probably already know that muscle weighs more than fat, so more muscle would mean that you weigh more but are healthier.

But if you aren't very active, and you don't workout much, then most of the extra weight is fat. And since people get more fat as they get older, and you are 'borderline overweight' at 18, you should start making an effort to make sure that you don't gain weight, and that you get enough exercise. That will make sure that your weight doesn't become a health problem.
