Why do my comments automatically go to top comments on YouTube?

It seems as if every time I post a comment, and all of the sudden its listed under "top comments" and then ends up with like 30+ likes 15 minutes later on YouTube. I'd much rather this not happen, because then morons tend to reply and that's not what I posted the comment for. So like, is there a way to stop this or??

I believe there is a way in the settings to stop Google+ notifications. Because that is where you comments are linked to.
I'd be happy though xD When you get 30+'s it means people like your comments and find them entertaining or funny. However I can understand how it gets annoying, just like facebook notifications LOL.
Head on over to your google+ profile settings and mess around in there until you come across something along the lines of "stop comment notifications"
