i want to add my ex's best friend of facebook, is that a bad idea?
Him and i broke up a week anda half ago. Todayi called him because i was missing him and part of me wanted to be together again with him. During the whike conversation he kept laughing it off and kept telling me how much of an amazing weekhes had going out and what not.I ended the convo because it wasnt going anywhere, now imdebating if i wanna add his best friend because

A. I actually do like his best friend, we always got along and hes stuck up for me during fights between my ex and myself

B. I dony want my ex to think ive beendepressed and sad this past week because i havent been, i didnt even fully want the relarionship back, i just missed him and wanted to talk. Of course i post some of what i do on facebook, andmyex has me blocked , and im sure he would ask his friend what ive been up to.

I know this kinda comes across as immature, but i dont really think it would be that big ofa deal. I want my ex to know im doing just fine without him. Advice?

You can add him on fb and he will probably accept but he won't speak to you unless you talk to him.

If he was really his best friend he will not doing anything beyond just talking to you and thats about it. Unless he asked your ex for permission then its a GO.

I doubt he will ask how you are if he broke up with you. He will probably interrogate his best friend though to why he is talking to you assuming he talks to you at all. It is never a good idea to jump from one friend to another that are in the same group especially if they are best friends unless there is potential for something better than just a couple for a year or two.
