Poking on facebook..........?
It's not really about pokes exactly lol. There's this guy friend that i meet last year, he's foreigner so he comes and goes. But before he left the last time to go back home (about 5months ago) we had an argument but we "fixed" things. Although we didn't talk again after that (we chatted via facebook). Then 2 months or so ago, i left him a message and he replied to it. But after i replied back, he ignored it. And i sent him another message but still nothing. I went as far as to apologize but still nothing. So i backed off and didn't do anything else cause i said to myself that if he wanted to talk, he would.

Now, he started to poke me on facebook. Like everyday. I wasn't going to poke back the first time but i said wth. I poke..he pokes that same day and sometimes even immediately.

I'm reading way to much into it, but usually i poke people when i want their attention..and he knows that i wanted to talk again...so i don't get him. And i don't want to msg him again, cause i already did and don't want to get shot down again. And it's stupid really.

So my question is...why would someone poke..if not for attention?

I guess he's using poking as a competitive thing.

well me and my freinds poke just to be funny. so maybe hes trying to break the ice a little? maybe hes trying to make up for it? idk but I dont think it sounds like hes trying to be mean or anything.
