how can i talk to this girl?

normally im a shy guy but i know if i figure a way out to talk to her i can( i used to talk to her in middle school but stopped in high school because we didnt have classes) . problem is i only have one class with her. i get there about a minute before the bell rings and i cant talk to her during class because i sit half way across the room from her.and when the bell rings she zips out of the room faster than i can get my things together the other thing is that i think it might be weird totalk to her after not talking at all.sometimes i see her in the hallways but shes normally with some dude or with her friends. But the biggest problem is that i dont know how to start the convo? any ideas i really like her but idk what to do. shes also my friend on facebook.
