Why won't Facebook let me delete my account?
It says my ONLY option is to "De-Activate" it? I want to remove it, it belongs to me, it's my personal information, why can't I remove it? What do they want with it?

I can't answer why and no one really can but the creator of facebook. We did in class one day look at the contract and when you make the account anything you put on facebook can be used in their advertisements and stuff that might be a reason.

There's not an option to completely delete your Facebook. By deactivating it, it will block everything off your page and no one will be able to see anything any more so basically it's like deleting it. But if you later on want to come back, you can reactivate it and all your information will still be there.
