is there anyway to avoid a constant stream of adverts on twitter?
I've just joined and can stand the constant adds for everything from public figures (intelligent ones)

more specifically is there away to disable a link form strangers to someone you follow ie someone saw @celebes name here at the shop etc etc etc is there a way to just see what the people i select to follow says directly

ive been removing everyone i added yesterday
sane person 1 i think i might just do that. I have a lot better things to be doing. Now I cant remember why i wanted to join ! I lasted not even a full day lol i know I'm missing nothing either.
