Facebook app won't update on ipod touch.?

I have a 2nd/3rd gen ipod touch. I went into the app store and it said my facebook app needed to be updated and I did clicked install and it finished but when I go back into the app store, it still says facebook needs to be updated. I've done it multiple times and it still is in my updates section on the app store.

Restart your Ipod By doing Holding The lock and home button till it turns off without using the right swipe and keep holding it till it turn on again. Does not work go to your computer and down load it there for the up date. If you do not know how to do it go to Itunes then Applications and then in the bottom right hand bottom click on update then click on it the Facebook.

thats because u have a second generation ipod........ same as me , and ipod no that doenst work
