Group invites on facebook?

If I sent a group invite on facebook to someone, and they click, can you resend it again? I invited some people like a month ago to a group. When I go to invite people, I can't invite the ones i've already sent invites too. I'm not sure if that means they are ignoring the invite, or if they declined it.

Once you send an invite to one person, you can't send it to them again, no matter what. If they accept it, then you don't need to (and you can't send invites to current members anyway). If they decline it, you wont know about it. It will just be like they are ignoring it all together.

If Facebook let you resend invites, there would be too much spam. People only want to have to ignore a group once.
