is twitter REALLY that bad?

Come on people. I LOVE twitter. Why does everyone think it's such a bad thing? I think it's a great way for people to connect. Is it really any worse than facebook or myspace? And it doesn't have to be that deep. And I think it's also a great way for celebrities to connect with fans, which I think is important. Plus, it's just fun!

so what are your views on this? why do you think twitter is GOOD?

I don't think Twitter is good. I honestly feel like it's kind of dumb for an average person. From a celebrity stand point, I think it's great for them to tell the truth about what is being reported about them. It sort of seperates the need for celebrity journalism. However, I think Twitter is just a phase. No one really wants to know where you went that day or what sandwhich you ate for lunch.
