Why do some people care so much about what other users look like?

This is not insta, twitter, or facebook. Most people are not here to make friends or gain followers/fans.
@Jordon- I don't think anyone is ugly. I just think some people aren't good looking.
@Serena- I never been curious about how people on here look.
Also I think it's funny how some user on here is always claiming I'm ugly because I don't have a pic of myself. If I was a troll pretending to be hot then I could just use a pic of any hot girl. I don't have my pic because I want to remain anonymous. I wouldn't want people I know to see questions I ask about guys that make me seem obsessive.

Because they are teenaged boys and being attractive on the scale of 1-10 is very important to them, even if they look as attractive as moving poo, ie slugs.

It's because we're always talking to each other. Always 'around' the same people. I think it's normal to think about it at some point
