How can I become less addicted to social media?
I know this sounds dumb, but I actually think I'm addicted. On twitter I have a fangirl account, and I also have a photography/landscape blog on tumblr, and I also go on snapchat and youtube daily. It's practically got to the point where I put checking sites above my homework and family commitments. Sometimes, if I try and take a daily break from them, my chest tightens up and I get this panicky feeling inside, and have to check them before I start totally freaking out. I know, it sounds weird, but it's the truth. The one of those sites which I'm most addicted to is twitter btw.

In 2014, the main artist who my twitter is dedicated to is taking a break, and I want to use that as a chance to gradually ease away from the site, and then hopefully the ending of my addictions to the other sites will follow subsequently. But how can I go about doing it? I CANNOT stop suddenly.

I feel as if this is getting more and more unhealthy. Please help! Thank you Smile

Try deleting and unfollowing half of the people you are following
Put your devices on airplane mode so you can't go on the internet

Another trick is to put a limit to the number of times you check your feed/status :-) (think of all the stuff that will be waiting for you when you leave it there for a long time!)
