I've been talking to a guy since July and we've been best friends + we talked everyday. He told me he liked me a little while ago and I admitted I started catching feelings in early November. Lately he had been taking half a day to a whole day to reply. Not sure why. He also has an ex that he broke up with because she was talking to her ex but now she is his top friend on snapchat and he's always texting her and posting things on social media about her. I think this is a bit hypocritical. We stopped talking at the end of December but I messaged him early January and ever since we have been talking (not very much and still delayed replies) as friends. There is no flirting or anything.

I was just wondering if anyone has any opinion on this. I am not as attached anymore as it's been almost a month and it was not sexual. (We kissed once) so I'm just wondering really. Do you think he's still interested? Do you have any thoughts of his ex and what's going on with that?

If he is doing so,yes he is still interested in his ex.its very hard to forget one that one really loved or love.he liked you a little while bcoz may b he was alone at that moment and you were the one whom he can talk to,share with while he misses his ex.And as he is still interested he may have some hope for his ex to return so he is trying his hard to get his ex back or also may b his ex is also showing him some positive responds.

He may have liked you but now he has started talking to his ex and I think he's trying hard to get her back. You should move on.
