How to get popular on Tumblr?

I recently started a blog where I recap/review TV shows because I really love writing & watching TV.
The only problem is, I have 3 followers, and none of my material gets notes/comments.

I created a Twitter account, and I use a lot of tags to get my stuff out there, but nothing has really happened.

Can anyone give me advice on how to get my name out there and be popular on Tumblr?

Social networking
Choose your tumblr name carefully (somthing people are likely to search)
Promote it in a youtube video (you'll be surprised how well it can work)
Tell everyone you know
Create a description that might trigger search words in google
