This is my first published piece and would like some feedback.

I'd like to add that I did in fact meet my husband on a social media site and our relationship is at it's strongest when neither one of us dabbles in those waters.

I like it. Studies are showing 3 in 5 relationships ( marriages etc) end because of facebook etc. Plus a friend who works for facebook says facebook has all your info and your friends ( social security numbers, credit card numbers, all personal info health records etc) even if you didn't give it to them.It is only a matter of time before this scandal breaks. Also couples who do not have facebook pages are less likely to divorce ( the woman or the man isn't constantly looking for something better)

Yes definitely! A study has shown that 74% of married couples use facebook to look for someone better to leave their spouse for.

Married couples on Facebook have less than a 70% of reaching their 15 year marriage anniversary.

Also affairs have gone up 39% since facebook was launched. Infact some places in India have banned Facebook and they have seen marriages get stronger and divorce rates drop.

LAST edit: I tell couples who come to me for help to get off Facebook for 90 days and see if they still are having the same problems in their marriage. OUt of 10 couples who wanted to divorce after trying that only 2 ended up divorcing( one the man was having many affairs) . Women always have men telling them how nice they are and other woemn telling them their husbands are dirt and they should find someone else.men have other women trying to steal them away from their wife and telling them there wife should appreciate them more etc. . If you have to have a facebook account I suggest nothing except a joint one with your spouse. Remove influences like this and you have stronger marriage.
