This guy knows my name but I didn't tell him! HELP NEEDED ASAP?

There's these group of guys in my school and they're brown, and I have a strong feeling atleast one of them likes me! They all stand in a big group, and when I pass by I seem to notice that they stare at me. I also think they talk about me, but I've never heard them. But, one time I was going down the stairs and one of the members of the group was going up, it was just him and I and he looked at me and made a noise like he ate something really hot, but it was towards me. I don't know what it means. Also, they all stare at me from top to bottom, and two of them already followed me on twitter. I followed the first one back, and I don't even know him. And the second one, the story is that my friends touch him (in a funny and friendly way, not flirting), they touch his face cus he's chubby and talk to him like hi and stuff like that. So they all said bye to him and I was the only one who didn't, so I felt bad. I said bye and he said bye. and then I was like wait whats your name? And he said joshua and I said oh okay bye joshua! and the next day he followed me on twitter! Like how do you think he found out my name? My friends call me from my nickname, or dont even call me from my name at all at school. and my name is quite hard to spell, so what do you think? Thanks

He probably asked around. Even if you go by a nickname your real name is still around the school. I don't understand why this is urgent unless they make you feel uncomfortable, in which case you should quit encouraging them, try not to be caught in situations alone with them, and talk to a teacher or something. You're also connected to other peoples' twitter accounts including your friends, so all he'd need is to find one or two of them to find you.
