My computer turns off during gaming, not overheating?

My computer turns off during gaming, not overheating?
I just bought a new graphics card, Geforce GTX 650ti and put it in and worked great for about 5 minutes then my computer shut off for a few seconds and rebooted. My old graphics card which was a Asus 210 Silent never had a problem with games. I did some research and tested if my computer was over heating, it isn't because when it turns off, GPU and CPU are no higher then 60 degrees . The only other thing I am wondering is that my power supply isn't good enough. Its a 400w psu. My graphics card says it requires a minimum off 400w. But My computer has 3 fans and 2 harddrive as well. Does it make sense for it too turn off like this because my psu might just be too weak for this new graphics card and the rest of the components? Or are there some setting or something I haven't changed after putting the new graphics card in. It is definitely a large upgrade.

The symptoms point to the power supply. Although it meets the minimum power requirements, the age of the PSU affects their performance, and eventually they start to fail. I would definitely replace the power supply.

400w might be a stretch. Maybe your GPU has some stability issues. Run a GPU stress test for a couple of hours. If it fails, then your GPU has a problem.

Your power supply is probably not enough for your system, so you need one with more wattage. Also, your temperatures should improve by having a better psu. In the BIOS of your system it should tell you at what temperature the system will automatically shut down. It should not be shutting down due to temp at 60 degrees though...but you can take a look at it. For better power loads with your system, I would recommend getting at least a 500 watt psu that is bronze or better rated.

The PSU is most likely the problem. You will need a new one. I would recommend at least a 500w PSU just to be safe, and make sure you don't get a cheap one as those could fry your whole PC. You should also make sure you have the right drivers if you haven't already.

Your PSU, while rated 400W, may not have enough power on the +12V rail for the video card. That will cause the PSU to either shutdown from overload, or possible overheating itself...
Older PSU also have a small aging factor, they lose power supply rating a bit as they age.
