Will you leave Facebook because of the new timeline?

It's fine for now. But I still don't like it. If anyone left Facebook or plans to leave because of the timeline, I don't blame you. In fact, you have my blessing if you do. I have half a mind to leave because of the timeline. I don't want people to see what my life was like 3, 4, or even 2 years ago. Timeline just makes it too easy to dig up my past. I don't want that! But I am still in college and that is like the main avenue of communication with people I hang out with and work with. If I leave now, I will be disconnected which may be a good thing for people like my family. Still, I hate the timeline but I enabled it before they make me do so. Will you leave Facebook because of timeline? If I do anyways, it will be one less social network to worry about.

but you can hide any single item in the timeline... hide all your old stuff that is embarrassing... because technically, all your old stuff is still visible in many ways... like this way... a 3rd party app that extracts every thing you have done just like the timeline does (but the timeline lets you modify it)

but if you would rather be stubborn than learn a little bit, i suppose that is your option

if you convert to timeline now, you can go thru everything and hide what you dont want others to see before it goes public next week... because your profile will be converted automatically then... so you dont really have much choice other than deleting your profile i suppose
