Question About Facebook Friend Request?

I sent this man I knew from High School a friend request yesterday. We're 42. I'm almost positive he's single because I did a report people report online. He hasn't responded to the request.......I don't think he goes on Facebook very often..........I have my status as private (I'm single, but I made it private). Should I change my status to single and public? Why hasn't he responded? He's the one that used to like me, I didn't like him........now I'm interested in him.

send him a direct message and introduce yourself. if you still don't get a response then he either doesn't use facebook or not interested

I'd send him a message. If it's been a really long time (like you haven't seen each other since high school), it is highly likely he may have forgotten who you are. (No offense, but that's understandable, you know?). Even if you are not facebook friends, you should be able to send messages, so I'd send a friendly message reminding him of who you are and about how it's been a while and you'd like to catch up.

Making your profile public is up to you. Know that you can choose which parts of your profile you make public and the people that you want certain parts visible to. It's pretty flexible in that sense.

Keep in mind that, if it has indeed been a long time, he may or may not feel the same way, if he even remembers... but best of luck to you! Hope it works out :]

if He Doesint Go on Facebook that often than he probably just hasint been on and hasint answered your request yet why dont you ask him in person or call him and ask him why he hasint responded to your request
