Is it weird to message a girl on twitter if you dont know each other?

So I shouted out this girl on twitter because she followed me back. I was like "S/O to my new follower @her twitter name she's gorgeous". She replied "Thank you so much!" and favorited and retweeted it.Then I replied "You are very welcome" and she favorited that. Now me and this girl don't know each at all but we she goes to one if the high schools in my district actually our rival school. I wanna message her on there because i really do think she's gorgeous(actually surprised she followed me back) but will she get creeped out since she doesn't know me.

Try starting casual conversation with her, maybe bringing up that she goes to a school near you, if he seems to like talkin to you then keep going, maybe after a while if you decide you really wanna meet her, then ask her out, though it would need to be a public place and all, make sure not to be too pushy, she can't be freaked out, if she turns you down, then just remember, she doesn't know you, for all she knows you could just wanna rape her! So just keep talking to her, and eventually (if she is not with someone else) she will probably say yes
