I want to be positive about my modeling agency?
I'm 14, applied to Craze Agency, and my mom and I did research on them, they are in the BBB with an A rating and seem to have mostly great reviews. Then I went in for the interview and they ended up accepting me! The agent said I needed to get headshots and comp cards done, which would cost about 440$. So go into get the headshots ad chose some great pictures for my comp cards. Its supposed to take a couple weeks to get these done, and when they are, I can start getting work and getting paid with them always getting 10-15%. So so far I've had a good experience with them, but lve heard that agencies are supposed to talk to you about other photographers doing your headshots instead of just their own and they didn't do that. I've also heard there's som e bad facebook PaGE about them? Im 99.9% sure their not. scam, my cousin was even represented by them for a while and had a great experience. So can someone help reassure me??

The difference is whether an agency FORCES you to use a particular photographer or you could have used the photographer of your choice. Any photographer is going to cost at least $250 for the shoot and headshots are about $200 for 100 so the price you got is fair. Did the agent tell you that you needed headshots and comp cards, which any model need? Or did they tell you that you NEEDED to use your photographer? Would you have been rejected by the agency if you used your own photographer?
If you are happy with the photos, the price is fair, and the only other money they will take is a commission after booking you on a job, then I don't know what you are working about
A scam is where an agency FORCES you to use their photographer only, they make you pay for THEIR classes, etc but they never book anyone on a job. Their business is selling photos and classes - not booking models.
If you've had a good experience, then you'd know it's not a scam
