So when they look back at 2013 flaunts (for example) they get to see a glimpse of what kind of life they had.

They get their sense of self worth from the outside world. Some people know that their lives are great, and some people need to be constantly told that their lives are great.

People are lonely and want to share their lives with their friends and families. What are you supposed to talk about? It is your "Facebook"-what is happening about you and sharing things in your life with others that may be interesting.. I do think people get a little carried away though and leave nothing to the imagination(sharing too much about their love life, etc),or they do what I did a lot of when I was there: talk about my tragedies, or problems in life.Well, I was experiencing them and I had no one to talk to .. I don't go there much anymore,(only to keep up with family) because I found out that many people just don't want to hear about me, or my problems and I tend to want to share them with people. What you may find interesting (usually it was at the time it occurred) others wont find interesting hearing about on FB. Or you say something, it is misinterpreted and there is a drama. I want a drama free life
