Question about Facebook groups!?

So I have a question about Facebook groups.

I recently made a group event on Facebook for me and a couple of my friends (which was invite only) to have a little get together. A few of them are going, and I saw on their profiles a thing that said "_______ has joined the group ______'s Birthday Bash."

I obviously don't want any of my other friends to find out because I don't want to hurt their feelings by leaving them out, so does that notification stay on their profile for all of their friends to see or do only people in the group see that message?

Sadly the only thing you can do is tell the people in the event to delete the post.

it depends on if the group is a public group or a secret group

if it's public then all of their friends will be able to see it too

you can change the group to secret still tho if there arent more than 20 members

If you don't want any of your other friends to see it, make the group secret. You'll see the notifications because you're In the group, but people who aren't in the group won't see them
