just talk to them again.... but you mean as USING YAHOO TO COMMUNICATE?? Some people have moved on with other social media.... like the MYSPACE phase.... it won't come back....and after Yahoo Chat has been acting weird and many spam bots... it will never be the same

Ah...I was ready with some of my philosophy and then I see Y!A friends...
But non-yahoo friends are difficult to bring back...people change over time is what I've realized, I have changed too and Idk for good or bad
Me and some of my school friends do not have the same bonding as we had in school..

Like the top two answerers said, many of them had moved on with other social media and some of them have changed (good way) over time, they just move on or get busy with their personal life, work, traveling and stuffs.

I always remember the days in Y!A just as my school days, college days or days at this company/ that company, it’s like “Y!A days”, but we guys don’t take our friendship to the next level where we can all meet, have dinner, talk about our good and bad experiences over here. Wouldn't that be nice?

If someone can arrange a thing like this, then I think there’s nothing on earth can keep us away from Y!A.

I would mail them or as Meghana said we can simply post question on their user name and see if they come to answer.
