how do I deal with office politics in speech and drama class?
There are too much alleged favoritism in the group and I am put at a huge disadvantage because I am ugly and poor while the other girls comes from rich families and are "pretty". I do see this very well because during class events, the photographer NEVER took any of my photos and choose to focus on a few pretty girls only. To make things worse, the photographer is my teacher-in-charge, I do not want to complain to him because he's going to decide on the report he will be writing about me so I am screwed...okay.

During the appointment of the group executive members, people who are younger than me are picked, maybe I shouldn't complaint about this but I think I should be given a CHANCE, because everyone else in my age group are PICKED leaving me this pathetic senior with no power, no position, nothing at ALL.

Almost all the boys in the group claims that I am ugly and they hate me for that, so I feel really upset over it. To make things worse my school do not allow people to put make-up on or color their hair, or even to wear colored contact lenses so I have nothing to help me change the game.

Some of the executive members blocked me on social media platforms, don't allow me to sit close to them and I really feel estranged from the group. I hate them very much and as much as I try to, they seems to display no interest in making friends with me. I also once overheard them with some of the executive members gossiping about me and my background and all the mistakes I've made, I am still so f--king angry over this today.

I am also given very minor roles in plays despite my commitment, I come in early, I leave the group late, I attend all group meetings even though some of those post-executive doesn't give a sh-t about the meeting. I ask for bigger roles but they told me that I have no "talent", I end up being the one turning off and on the lights. I felt extremely demoralise and skipped those meetings, I ended up getting scolded and threaten to scrape this event from my year-end report. [the others who skipped weren't threaten and they enjoyed the benefits]

what should I do??

Are you kidding? You don't understand that acting is HUGELY appearance driven? Megan Fox wouldn't have had a career if she weren't hot. Should we even talk about Joe Manganiello?

Complain about what? That it's not fair? Acting isn't about fair. If you are going to constantly be upset about not being the center of attention because you aren't pretty, get out of this class.

If you don't have talent OR looks OR some sort of x-factor, then you are in the wrong place.

you need to change classes and talk with someone about this situation (perhaps an assistant principal)
