I have been doing some research about how to make some extra money and have come across something called digital marketing and how it is a way to make a ton more money. Can you actually make money with digital marketing? How does it work? What do you have to do? Thanks

There are so many elements to digital marketing. They can range in everything from:

Search engine optimization
Social Media Marketing
Digital Branding
Search advertising
Mobile marketing

The list goes on.

Even classified ad sites are a form of digital marketing. It probably has 100 different names. So you would definitely need to fine-tune what type of digital marketing you would want to do. You'd also need to remember that the digital world itself is ever-changing, Much like other sciences, unless you are willing to concede ahead of time that you will never be able to be an 'expert' in your field, you will probably be the closest thing to one it has.

I'll list a couple of my favorite digital marketing sites to use in resources and even a site or two focused on the varying elements of digital marketing.

Once you understand that making money online takes a lot of work, you can move on.

Avoid all the sites that offer magical software that will make you easy money. They don't work.
