What is wrong with my iPhone?

I only have about 250 photos on my iPhone 4S and apparently I don't have enough storage to take more pictures. My sister has more than 1000 and she can still take pictures so I don't see how it's different. I have apps like twitter Instagram and most other social networking but that's about it. My sister has many other apps downloaded and hers still works. I'm just really confused. I don't use iCloud or PhotoStream, if that makes a difference. How can I gain more storage and why is my phone so different compared to my sisters? Also we both have 8gb phones.

I'm pretty sure either you have a 4S or a 4 because iPhone 4S doesnt offer 8GB... erm if you have an iPhone 4S its because iPhone 4S has an 8MP camera, which every photo takes more memory and if you sister has a 4 , iPhone 4 only has a 5MP camera so it takes less memory. hope this helped.

It's a bucket. When it's full, it's full. You have to empty it to recover storage space.
If you have a lot of videos, consider deleting them. Video generally takes up a lot more room than photos.
