Controlling my Facebook feed?!?

On my Facebook feed it says my friend has liked something therefore it comes up on my feed. They are following really weird sites and I don't want to block unfollow or unfriendly the person but they like so many things that it overloads my Facebook. Is there a way in settings or something which means that when a friend likes something it doesn't pop up on my feed?

Yes you can.Click on the options icon next to the username of the person of whom you wish to hide the messages and notifications.Then click on "Hide all from thepersonname".see the image for reference.

Yes, go to the person's profile and click on options you can select "hide from newsfeed" or hide all from etc., don't show in newsfeed.
