How do create a facebook page?

I am a graphic designer, and i wanna show off my designs on Facebook to my friends and they can "like my page" without having to add me. The problem is, i don't know how to do that without having to choose a category. Any ideas? My one friend did it....and gave me a smart ass answer like u create a page... like what the fuck? That is not how u tell someone who doesn't know what to do, how to create a page.
