Instagram is better than a room full of chocolate-covered cheerleaders.

It depends what you like. There are pros and cons to it.

Some of the pros are that you can share your life through photos, see friends photos, get cool ideas for activities and stuff, and there are really great filters for your pics.

The only con I can think of is that people are always shouting each other out, which can get annoying. Other than that, I think it's fun.
