Can I have a Facebook business page without linking to my personal page?

I'm self employed and I want to create a Facebook business page.

I don't want it to be linked to my personal Facebook page.

How can I do this?

It has to be connected to a profile but you could make a new profile on Facebook using a different email address and just use that account to open a Facebook page?

You can use your existing account or create a new one for this page. People will however not be able to view whose page is this unless you tell them. For me the best option is to use your existing account, so you can just login one and manage both your profile and the page at once.

you cant do that - you have to use a personal account to administer it, and facebook will lock your accounts if you create more than one personal account
