Why does my inbox default to Ascending when opening email?

Since the change over of the new Yahoo. I set mine to Basic and each time I open Yahoo my newest email is at the bottom. I can change this, but it then defaults back when I open. I really want to see my newest email at the top of the page and not have to scroll through pages of emails to get to the newest. Incidentally this has only happened since the new version upgraded.

That is the reverse problem that most users are experimenting.
I believe Yahoo will have to resolve this one
