I just did this today. In the settings you can disable a given/named game from anyone or a given/named person from sending any invitations (which is what I did, its the same half dozen folks all the time).

Settings-->Block app invites
Settings-->Block apps

And

Settings-->Blocking-->What You Get Notified About

Fiddly but thats FB for ya
