Why are only females suggested on FB?

I dont get it like 95% of my friends suggestions are chicks that I have few mutual friends, I dont get it. I am not complaining just asking myself why is there ONLY chicks on my Add as Friend list.

Does FB know Im single or what ? Sometimes those suggestions are Profile visitors ?

If you’ve put your relationship status on there, then it knows it. If you haven’t, it doesn’t.
But I don’t think facebook tries to play matchmaker, either. It’s most likely coincidence.
