Math Problem = see more detail?
I haven't taken a math class in eleven years, so please help me with this hypothetical math problem.

Someone has a hypothetical rock band, where they make a 60% gross profit, before taxes for 10 months of album sales. They use an extremely far reaching facebook marketing system that gets them 10,000,000 facebook likes over 10 months total. They have their albums for sale through their music facebook page. For each album sold, they make $6.00 . Let's say that a reasonable 1% of those likes convert into album purchases. What is there gross profit, before taxes over 10 months?

I did try this on my calculator and kept getting an error message. I go to a University, ship.edu, where students are given the option of taking a Philosophy or Math class. I chose Philosophy, so that I could avoid taking more math. This was probably a bad idea. Please try this math problem for me and thank you in advance. I'll kindly be awaiting your answers.

Two answers as of 4:05 AM today. 600,000 and 360,000. Which one is correct or are neither of them accurate?

1% of 10,000,000 = 0.01*10,000,000 = 100,000 buyers

100,000 buyers * $6.00 = $600,000

However, from this $600,000, they only make 60% of the gross profit.

60% of $600,000 = 0.6*600,000 = $360,000

Your answer: $360,000
