Cover photo on Facebook Timeline HELP?

My profile just changed to timeline (unfortunately). I see something about a cover photo. I tried to add a picture of my dog, but the pictures are was too big. So I was wondering what pictures I should post. If you could give me what you have posted (Not the picture but tell me if you posted it of destinations, family, pets, things like that).

I have no idea what I can post. Do the picture have to be mine or can I find a picture of my favorite celebrity or a photo on google images and post it?
