On facebook profile page friends that appear on your friends list?

when you go on your facebook profile page on the left handside column, the same column that your family members appear on the "friends" section that shows 10 people from your firends list.

are those 10 people really the people that look at your wall the most? or they are just random pick?
if so then how come when i refresh it the same people always come up?

never thought of that but no they are just random people. I just checked mine and it had some random people i rarely talk to not the people who speak to me most.
