Facebook is better for social networking which involves viewing friends pictures, writing on their walls, updating your status.. Its more for the creeping aspect, as coined the term "Facebook Creeping".. because it displays more of a persons life.

Twitter, as once said, is like facebook with just the status'. On twitter, a person follows you, and only sees what you wish for them to see. Twitter is good for following celebrities to see what their doing, and hear what they have to say.

I prefer Facebook. I have a Twitter, but I don't have a lot of followers so it feels more like I'm just shouting at a wall or something.

Definitely facebook! Facebook has been around a lot longer than twitter. & to me, twitter is kind of boring. You can do so much more things on Facebook than twitter.
