Why is it considered childish to not marry?
I hear some people online and in the media talk about those Men choosing to remain single and making fun of them for doing so saying things like Man Up and Marry a woman, or that they have peter pan syndrome.. Why is remaining single considered childish I mean who decides whether getting married or not is the mark of Manhood (adulthood) . Why cant a single man with a successful career or job who has his own house and vehicle among other things not considered an adult by some of these MGTOW shamming artists?

Once again I have no idea where you are getting your statistics and "facts."

I'm not aware that "some people" make fun of men for not marrying.

A secure man doesn't much care what other people think about his marital status.

I do realize that you have problems with the female gender in general and to the extent where you can not be co-workers and/or where you refuse to hire a woman for your (currently non-existent) business. In that case it is probably wise to stay single, employ only males and ignore the comments by outsiders. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?...425AAa76Uy

those people who think its childish to not marry are the same ones who are in miserable marriages and wish that they never did it. its a total hypocrite move.
its like how most of those anti-gay marriage people are closeted gays. they think if they reflect their attention to someone else, no one will notice their hypocrisy.

Eh? Can't say I've ever heard anyone say or suggest that before?!
And I've no idea what MGTOW is.
Sorry.

I am a single man with a successful career and I own home!! If that is childish, so be it!! I think its childish to be stuck in a marriage bickering all the time like little kids!!

No matter what you do, people will always have something to say!! So live your life for you and screw them!!

I was married once and lived the suburban life. It was a life of repetitive boredom and I felt like I was slowly dying day by day. Upon consulting with my social group I found all of my mates felt the same. To cut a long story short I ended the situation and have been a bachelor for 7 years. I have shared care of my daughter, have found no luck in finding anyone who is interested in living a life not based around the traditional buy a house, work hard, watch tv and die philosophy.

I have come to the realization that being single is a much better life for me than being married, the friends who are still married are miserable, those who are in a new marriage are miserable and I don't see the point of it. I get to travel, follow my own interests and all without stress. By definition I guess I am a MGTOW but I don't hate women just find most of them uninteresting. I have had pressure from friends and family to get back on the horse but I just don't see why I would and if people think that is childish they would have to give me a reason why marriage or long term relationship would improve my life.
