How do I delete a facebook account that hasn't been verified?

My family tried to create three facebook accounts for us in one day, but it looks like facebook doesn't allow this. When making the third account, it asked for a phone verification. We don't want to give a phone number, so I'd rather delete the account and try making it again in a day or two. Is there any way to do this, since I can't technically log in to get to the account? The email has already been connected since we got a verification email for it, but clicking the link only leads to another request for a phone number/identity verification.

you can't delete a facebook account.

you can only deactivate it.

go to settings > account settings . at the bottom of the page, there is a link for deactivation
