Does facebook still send you a notification?
when someone sends you a message on facebook? I looked in my hotmail inbox, and there was no notification, even though I had received mail on facebook. Is this a new trend?

Well it's supposed to. Maybe you should just check your facebook settings.

sometimes they do and sometimes they don't...mine have a delay on them for some reason...like i get them hours later!

no it's not... maybe u have deleted the "send me an email notification" by mistake...

Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. it depends on how busy the server is.

Either you have changed your setting ... but occassionally it does take a while for you to be notified by email.

i know that when i get a notification on my hotmail ive then got it saying my message from facebook in my hotmail inbox. before im sure it only used to notify you that your facebook had mail then direct you to the site, ive recently had a message thats been put on my facebook sent to me in a notification in my hotmail. does that help you

maybe you accidentally shut off notifications. Go into settings and turn it back on
|
