I want to meet my "boyfriend" in person, What do i tell my parents?
I am 15 and he is 14. We met on instagram and have been texting and facetiming (videochatting) alot, so i know he is real because video chat doesnt lie. He isnt exactly my boyfriend, but he might be soon and he wants to visit me so obviously that means something. He lives about 3 hours away from me, but he said he may come visit me over spring break. We both need a good excuse to tell our parents because they will most likely be talking. I cant say he is my boyfriend, because neither of us are out. I also cant say i met him online or on social media because my parents automatically relate that to pedophiles and creepers and child molesters so they will never let me meet him. It needs to be a solid excuse that both of our parents will believe and so he can stay with me for a couple of days without any suspicions. PLEASE HELP Smile

you could say something along the lines of "hey mom/dad when i went over to Bobs house he had his friend there that he has known for a long time. we started to become really good friends and i wanted to hangout with him over spring break so i was wondering if you he could come to stay the night for a couple of days" then mention that he lives 3 hours away and then go from that.

I would do what Riley says. That was pretty much my idea.
