How to get timeline in facebook?

i'm so desperate in getting it.
My friends say, they had an option in the homepage, which said do you want timeline or something like that, and they accepted it. But I didn't get it.
How do I get it?

just go to one of your friends profile that has timeline and you will see a box at the top of the screen that says 'learn more' just click on that. it will take you to another page that has a box that says 'get timeline' just click on that and there ya go (:

If any of your frnd is using timeline, then view his timeline through your account. U'll see a green button there "GET IT"...
And after that follow the instructions.
