Cancer man: Should I and how will he react if I tell him we should just be friends?

I want to tell him that i want to be alone, focus on my self then get arranged marriage (obviously know the future guy for 2years or more) once i turn 30.
He's mentioned he's very in love but needs time before getting into a relationship with me.

he's been liking other girls picture and adding girls on facebook. especially ever since i got so sensitive and jealous in front of him recently so ive already messed up. I feel like a back up in case he doesn't find his dream girl I know i deserve to be treated better anyway will he freak out? depending on his reaction i want to at least be friends

Well if he's checking out other girls profiles and keeping you at bay, then most likely he's not 100% into you. Glad to see though that you realize you have worth and deserve better, cause yes indeed you do. How will he react? Probably like most any man, shocked at first and then move on...especially if his feelings for you are not invested. But tough titties! He made his choice and now you can drop the ball and move forward. You sound like a level-headed lady who knows what she wants. Though it may be difficult, you should be a priority, never an option. Friendship with cancers can always form once the intial pain is over, maybe not right away, but eventually I can see you ending up in the friend zone. Time is a great healer, that's all you can give it.
