Unless you're hilarious and have loads of followers, really not many people with verified accounts do :/ However check out as many authors and (I've found in my experience) any preachers etc. A good example is https://twitter.com/CarrieWilkerson who seems to do that kinda thing.

Why are people these days so desperate for "Followers" on twitter? What is so joyous about having random people from the internet see you post random crap on the internet?

SOMETIMES celebrities and stuff will... note the "sometimes" part. Don't get your hopes up - just try and follow some new verified accounts and see if they follow back.

About time you realised you can't verify anything on the internet.
Anyone can be anyone they like on the likes of Twitter and you wouldn't know any different. People are so gullible where the internet is concerned and will believe anything they are told, even if the world was flat or the earth stood still and the sun revolved around it! |
